I traveled last Wednesday and Thursday to U of I with Mr. Gombas and Mr. Martikean. We are all part of a group of teachers that belong to the EnLiST program. This program concentrates on bringing new resources and teaching techniques to the science classroom. Our trip to Champaign-Urbana was highlighted by a poster and twin video presentation. The National Science Foundation was there to view our product and asked many questions about our activity. We also learned about a neat new robotics program that is being featured in an upcoming film and in a new book. Amir Abo-Shaeer, whom this material is based on was the key note speaker.
